Galena River Outfitter's primary goal is HUNTING LAND and the benefits it brings, not only to our region, but more importantly, to both landowners and QUALITY GAME for sportsmen like you and I.

GRO is a local family owned fulltime Whitetail and Turkey outfitting service, the first in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. Our very own agricultural ground is located in the county, both in Galena and Woodbine, Illinois.

We are also realtors, as well as, the owners of United Country Heartland Realty (see link). Our personal ability of knowing and obtaining the best hunting ground in the region combined with John's Midwest territories as THE only territory manager of 49 Eastern Iowa counties and 32 Northern Illinois counties for the Hunting Lease Network, a Division of Farmers National out of Omaha, Nebraska (see link) is simply unmatched.

GRO currently has over 1,200 quality Illinois acres to offer to a select few, although we will be adding additional ground slowly but surely year after year as we grow.

No-one wants you to have an opportunity to harvest mature animals, possibly a trophy of a lifetime, more than we do at GRO. We will do our best to give you that experience.

GRO will individualize each and every hunt to meet your specific needs.

We are committed to the future and passion of our sport. Our first hunt of the 2010 season is a donated hunt to a young child <16 years of age, for the Special Youth Season here in Jo Daviess County that we offered to our local NWTF Chapter the Jo Daviess Longbeards.
